Muse Video is rolling out gradually to creators inside Meta AI. Here is exactly how access works, who gets it first, and how to generate AI video while you wait.

The current situation

Muse Video was previewed on July 7, 2026 by Meta Superintelligence Labs, alongside Muse Image. Unlike Muse Image — which shipped the same day inside Meta AI, Instagram, and WhatsApp — Muse Video is not generally available yet. Meta describes it as "coming soon to creators and in Meta AI."

That means, as of this writing:

  1. There is no button to press. Muse Video does not appear in the Meta AI app for most users.
  2. Creators get it first. Meta is running a phased rollout to selected creators — an invite-style program, not a signup page.
  3. A Meta account will be required. Like Muse Image, it will live inside Meta's apps.

How access is expected to work

Based on Meta's announcement and how Muse Image rolled out:

  • Step 1 — Meta AI app: Muse Video will surface as a generation option in the Meta AI assistant (app and meta.ai), most likely behind a "create a video" prompt.
  • Step 2 — Creator tools: selected Instagram/Facebook creators get early access for Reels-style content.
  • Step 3 — Wider rollout: general availability inside Meta apps, if the preview goes well. Meta has flagged known gaps (audio-video sync, fast motion) it wants to close first.
