How to Use Muse Video: Access, Rollout & What Works Today (2026)
Muse Video is rolling out gradually to creators inside Meta AI. Here is exactly how access works, who gets it first, and how to generate AI video while you wait.
Last updated: 2026-07-08
The current situation
Muse Video was previewed on July 7, 2026 by Meta Superintelligence Labs, alongside Muse Image. Unlike Muse Image — which shipped the same day inside Meta AI, Instagram, and WhatsApp — Muse Video is not generally available yet. Meta describes it as "coming soon to creators and in Meta AI."
That means, as of this writing:
- There is no button to press. Muse Video does not appear in the Meta AI app for most users.
- Creators get it first. Meta is running a phased rollout to selected creators — an invite-style program, not a signup page.
- A Meta account will be required. Like Muse Image, it will live inside Meta's apps.
How access is expected to work
Based on Meta's announcement and how Muse Image rolled out:
- Step 1 — Meta AI app: Muse Video will surface as a generation option in the Meta AI assistant (app and meta.ai), most likely behind a "create a video" prompt.
- Step 2 — Creator tools: selected Instagram/Facebook creators get early access for Reels-style content.
- Step 3 — Wider rollout: general availability inside Meta apps, if the preview goes well. Meta has flagged known gaps (audio-video sync, fast motion) it wants to close first.
We'll update this page with exact steps and screenshots once the rollout reaches general users.
What you can do today
If you want to generate AI video right now, you don't have to wait:
- Go to the MuseVideo generator.
- Sign up with any email — free credits, no card, no waitlist.
- Describe your scene: subject, action, camera move, mood, and the sound you want.
- Pick an aspect ratio (16:9, 9:16, or 1:1) and hit Generate.
- Download the MP4 — with sound — in about a minute.
Prompting tips that carry over to any video model, Muse Video included:
- Describe motion, not just a scene. "A drone shot flying over…" beats "a city at night."
- Name the camera. Dolly in, orbit, handheld, slow pan — models respond to film language.
- Include the audio. "…with distant thunder and rain on glass" is exactly what audio-native models are built for.
FAQ
Is Muse Video free? Meta hasn't announced pricing. Muse Image is free for typical consumer use inside Meta apps, and Muse Video will likely follow — with usage limits.
When will Muse Video be available to everyone? Meta hasn't given a date — only "coming soon to creators and in Meta AI." We track the rollout and update this page.
Can I get Muse Video without a Meta account? No — and that's by design. If you don't want an account requirement, use an independent alternative.
